Marta is an alien from Poison Paradise, a distant, mosquito-infested planet. On a mission near the Moon for several years, she spends her free time photographing komatiites, precious stones that move slowly across the lunar surface as night falls. When an asteroid hits her ship, Marta is forced to make an emergency landing on an unknown planet : Terra. There she discovers human beings, their conflicts and wars, but also their creativity. Along the way, Marta learns to become human.
This album tells the story of her journey to Terra.
Over the course of the album, Marta meets the members of several Okas*, the Archos and the Exos, each of whom has special talents : through the power of the spirit and their rituals, the Archos are able to make the blossom come, and through dance, the Exos are able to fly like birds. At the end of the album, Marta rises with them in the track “Night at the Embassy”.
